U3A

About us
Worcester U3A is an educational self-help group aimed at those who are now working less, or have stopped altogether, but still have inquisitive minds, a thirst for knowledge and enjoy socialising and making new friends. It offers a stimulating, welcoming and friendly environment in which to learn, laugh and live.
With over 1,000 members; fortnightly main meetings with guest speakers; 90 interest groups, organised by members - covering topics from crafts, art, music, languages, literature, discussion, technology, dancing, indoor and outdoor sports pursuits, to outings and visits - there is something for everyone.
Our main ‘season’ runs from September to April/May with a special programme of events now being held over the summer months. Groups and meetings are held at various venues throughout Worcester City. Currently, a full year’s subscription is £32.00, reducing to £20.00 in January and £8.00 after 1 April. For Bridge – which meets every week – it is £41.00 reducing to £27.00 in January. This one single payment enables members to join as many interest groups as they choose (subject to vacancies).
