Herefordshire Clinical Commissioning Group (HCCG) brings together the GP practices in Herefordshire.
We buy and shape health and care services for the people of Herefordshire.
Here you can find out more about HCCG, the local health services that we commission and find out more about how to get involved.
Put simply, we want to create high quality health and care services that benefit everyone in Herefordshire. The kind of services that we would want available for our friends and family if they were unwell or needed help and support with a condition that impacted their lifestyle. In essence we want to create a high quality, sustainable and integrated Herefordshire health economy with the public and patients at the heart of everything we do.
We adhere to the seven principles of public life (the Nolan principles):
Our values are:
To be accountable to Herefordshire's patients and public, who are at the heart of everything we do
Herefordshire Clinical Commissioning Group (CCG) is committed to being accountable to our patients and public and placing them at the heart of everything we do.
We will also make sure that their opinions are listened to by the CCG and that we act on concerns.
We want to make this as simple as possible.
That is why we are developing a number of ways that people can get involved.
Most of the CCG’s GP practices now have Patient Participation Groups (PPG). This allows all patients registered with that practice to have a say on how it is run.
We have also launched our new membership scheme. Anyone registered with a GP in Herefordshire can become a member and you can register online.
